This seems to be one of Ms Stone's books that nobody bothered to check out before hitting the send button. Many of the recipes are poorly written in that ingredients don't follow preparation order or vice versa. Also, check out the "Vintage Pan Barbecue Steak" photo. The steak is clearly a bone-in ribeye. Yet the ingredients calls for round steak.There's no excuse for either of these types errors. Any "real" chef would be embarrassed to have their name attached to this book. (Perhaps Ms Stone only plays one on the Internet.)
Recipes where disappointing for me. I remember my grandma's cooking having more flavor. These recipes just didn't do it for me.
