I'm an avid reader (I can read five or more books a week) and the search is always on for me to find new books and new authors. I came across K. Sterling's name and a recommendation that the Boys Of Lake Cliff books were great reads. I read the sample for Hide and Keep and bought the 5 book series in one click. Phenomenal writing, wonderful characters, great plot, and steamy scenes like you wouldn't believe. K. Sterling will be a definite auto buy for me from now on. I guarantee you will not be disappointed, get the whole series now.
What can I say about this book? It just blew me away. Lane and Aiden are two of the best written characters I have ever read. The way each one needed the other really touched my heart.I found Aiden and his day-to-day struggles endearing, comical and sad all at the same time! Her depiction of an individual with Asperger 's was truly spot on. His interactions with Lane were priceless.Lane is amazing. The way he was with Aiden and how he protected him. The sex was.....oh my! There is sex and then there is this author's writing of sex. Hot, hot, hot!I would recommend this book to everyone. Great story line, beautiful characters, action, drama, romance. I mean just wow! 5 amazing stars for Hide and Keep and for my new favorite author.
This book makes my heart all warm and tender!One of my weaknesses are men that are hurt, broken or different in their own special way and I love Aiden. And I'm kind of swooning over Lane filling those empty spaces in Aiden and making him complete.Even the background story of crime and some violence doesn't take anything from this being such a beautiful love story.
I love Aiden and Lane. They are two of my favorite MC's of all time. I have read this book at least 3 times since I purchased it. Great characters, fast paced, snarky, sexy and fun. A great weekend read.
This author has really grabbed me. I've purchased and read all her available books in the past week and it's just been awesome. This one is my favorite. I loved how detailed the descriptions were regarding Aiden's emotions. Using colors and saying they were heavy, wet or warm and so on. It really pulled me into Aiden's POV and added a beautiful depth to the story. Loved how Lane handled Aiden's Aspergers and how he, in some ways, unlocked Aiden. It was a beautiful story...
I'm a booklet I love to read and I don't discriminate, I'm just looking for a great story and LANE AND AIDEN'S story is just that I like that these characters are flawed, and I don't care that it's two men the story kept me going. I will most certainly buy more books by this author. I do wish the bad guy would have suffered more, but I think it would have been to hard on AIDEN. Thanks for a great read....A NEW FAN. DEBRA R.
This was a great read about Lane and Aiden, one was a lonely man searching for love and the other was a man who didn't know the meaning of love and acceptance. The sex was hot but the story about finding someone who will love, protect, and accept you with all your faults and limitations is one each of us search for. A lovely story!
Pretty good book. A bit shorter than the first one I read- 'Building Heat', I think I liked that one a bit more. This one felt slightly hastily written, maybe, needed just a few more chapters, felt rushed especially with the family acceptance and all...But still, enjoyable read.
