We received a book with the same title but published in 1998 and a different cover. We ordered the pictured version because it described being a revised and expanded version with references to the Catechism which we do not see.
Excellent Catholic book to increase your knowledge of our Faith. We use it in our monthly Bible Study Groups. The book is well written and easy to understand. I high recommend it.

This is not long and complicated as a commentary might be. As someone returning to the Catholic Church after many years away, I wanted something that would give me summaries of the books of the bible from a Catholic POV. I found it very user friendly.

This little book is a great reference resource for any person reading or studying the Bible. Each book of the Bible is summed up neatly for a quick understanding of behind the scenes in the individual books. Highly recommended.
As a new leader of a women's group...this book along with the answer booklet, was great. I had lady's who have never opened a Bible. They were so thrilled to learn from this little book. If you are "Bible inpared" I think this will open the way to learn even more.
