This new Graphic Edition of the international best seller is a wonderful addition to the Theory Of Constraints bibliography. The initial "text" version was already a great page turner and continues to delight and influence millions of people throughout the world. This "comic" is even more accessible and manages to get all the key messages of the original edition.Highly recommended both for newcomers to the Theory Of Constraints and experienced practitioners who will be able to use it to seduce and teach this "common sense" (which is not so common) approach to management.

Every once in a while, someone comes out with a unique style of writing that delivers a high impact and this book is one of those. Zimmerman and Motter have provided readers with a chance to quickly see the power of the Theory of Constraints. I never imagined The Goal in a graphic format, but once I bought it and read it, I was hooked. This is one book I would highly recommend to all newcomers to TOC and to "old timers" like me! Job well done!! Bob Sproull

The real book (The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement) is essential reading for anybody interested in Lean/Agile software development, not just manufacturing. This graphic novel is an easily digestible summary of the most important parts of The Goal. Frankly, the longer book is better, but this version isn't bad. If you want a good summary rather than an in-depth treatment, or just want to jog your memory, then this is version for you.

I had heard about the Goal, mainly from reading the Phoenix Project which is like a re-writing of the original. I'm not sure why I decided to buy this graphic version, since I never read graphic novels. It's fine, but struggles to condense the ideas into short bites. It's fine, but I'd recommend reading the original. That's what I plan to do.

I never read the original book, so I will not try to compare the two. While I can't say which is better,I can say that I learned a lot and can see how this applies to many if not every area in life. Being in tech I am going to keep an eye out to apply the lessons from this book. Hopefully it'll make a positive difference for my coworkers in our everyday work.

Very cool version. I think this presentation style may appeal to a younger audience just getting into industry roles. Of course, I could just be stereotyping the young ones.

I accidentally purchased this comic book version of "The Goal" (I initially thought I purchased the original on my kindle, to only find out after). Nevertheless, I liked reading the comic, but I still purchased & preferred the original. It might be me, but he ideas & concepts better stick when reading the book above reading the comic.

A great book for a new group of readers. read THE GOAL and the Graphic Novel for even more insight into the Theory of Constraints. Give a copy to any business student or executive. Its a terrific read for all.
